Katrina's father, Armitage Shanks comes to visit. He is disturbed at Katrina's grades falling, and finds out that she is in love with Eugene. Due to her conversion, she is confused by these feelings. Armitage suggests she get away from Odyssey for awhile, and she agrees. She bids Eugene farewell and they both admit to loving one another, and acknowledge that they cannot have a relationship together at this time.
